Salvia uliginosa
The bumble bee swing – Salvia uliginosa – opens its first flowers. A perennial – which is not very common here – that blooms from August to October. Well winterproof so far. Loves sunny, fresh soil and grows here to a height of 100 cm.
It is no coincidence that it got its name bumblebee swing: Bees, bumblebees and other insects only fly on it.
