Our bee colonies are ready for winter
Stimulated by the mild October, they still fly out and bring in plenty of pollen. For me also a sure sign that a queen is present and still breeding. When the weather is dry, the hustle and bustle begins around 10:00 a.m. and ends around 6:00 p.m.
Working and dealing with the bees is absolutely fascinating and decelerating. Now I’m hoping for a good winter and a good start next spring.
