November beauties: Ornamental fruit

Episode 3:

 

The more leaves are fallen from the trees and shrubs and the more “ naked “ these become, the better the peculiarities of this season are reflected in the plants.

These include, of course, the winter fruits.

Most of the fruits of autumn serve as a source of food for the birds in winter, and therefore disappear in the course of winter in a “wondrous” way. We ” lost ” therefore already most of the rose hips towards the blackbirds.

 

For a very long time the fruits of the crab apples avenue in the meadow keep themselves. Until well into February, the big red fruits glow on the trees. At some certain point swarms of juniper chokes appear, which eat their obvious favorite dish in winter in the shortest possible time and the fruits are history…..
