Ice saints

A very cold week with a frosty northeast wind is behind us. That was probably already the ice saints who gave us some nights of ground frost?

The forecast for the next 14 days is spring-like mild til summery warm.

Apple, pear and cherries are in full bloom. The narcissus bloom, however, is coming to an end.

In the perennial beds the daily growth is clearly measurable. The first flowers in catmint and cranesbill are already showing.
