Gardening in times of Corona

The rapid spread of the corona virus all over the world make us stunned and speechless. The situation is somehow surreal and very scary. The own view of the really important things in life is changing massively.

Of course, this also applies to the Bruchergarten. We canceled the first planned open garden gate on April 19. We have also already spoken to all the planned visit groups for April. Health just comes first.

If really further measures by the government come in the form of exit restrictions, we are already in a much better position here in the country with our houses and gardens to survive this mentally.

We personal try to focus on gardening and not to follow the latest news non-stop. Alone, that’s not so easy when you hear the bad news from Italy, Spain and France. Our thanks and respect go to all those who are at the forefront these days and weeks and who are putting their own health at risk.

We therefore fully support the call to stay at home and practice physical distancing.

We will try to post current pictures and texts from the garden more regularly on the website and Instagram over the next few weeks. As a small attempt to put a smile on your face.

We wish all people confidence, health and strength in these troubled and frightening times!
