Garden column: Frozen beauties

Today a series of pictures of frozen beauties in the garden from last week. The mostly “mild” frost nights on the Lower Rhine create fairytale-like images above ground. You can still see the seed heads of many perennials, but also flowering plants such as roses. Due to the mostly light frosts, the Plants are preserved for a long time and serve as a source of food for animals and insects. In any case, a walk through the garden is a privilege and balm for the soul at these times.
