Open garden, Sunday, 05th june: Roses & perennials

At the start of June, the roses in the garden are blooming and fragrant.

Exuberant rambler roses ( Bobby James, Paul’s Himalayan Musk, Violet and Albertine ) in the mature fruit trees. Fragrant climbing roses ( Perennial Blue, Giardina, Perennial Blush, Garlande d’Amour, Ghislaine de Feligonde ) on the picket fences, house walls and rose arches. Persian, historical and English roses (Gertrude Jekyll, Rose de Resht, Sweet Pretty, Sharifa Asma,..) in the borders. Plus white, pink and red peonies.

Sage and catnip glow in shades of blue in the perennial border. In addition, the first meadow buttons, barbel and oriental poppies are now blooming.
