Colorful finish – Golden sunlight

The autumn finale is heralded. Nuts are falling. The leaves of the swamp oak and the liquidambar turn into fantastic reds. Myriads of aster blossoms run through the perennial garden in blue, red, pink and white. Grasses such as dewdrop grass, switchgrass, whistling grass, woodland pasture and others form the corset for the late autumnal perennials.

And in good weather, the sun bathes the whole event in wonderful light:

Whether in the morning with morning dew or raindrops, at noon – when the perennials are visited by thousands of insects or in the late noon, when the sun is lower, the garden dives into the very special Lower Rhine light. Autumn is so beautiful!
