End garden season 2019

Our garden season for visitors is now over. An exciting and enriching garden year is coming to an end. We thank all guests for the many great conversations and the encouragement to continue.

From hibernation is however no thought. The preparations for the winter and the new garden year 2020 in the garden are in full swing:

• Excavate, clean, sort, label and store dahlias in a dry place.
• turn over compost
• Get cow manure
• Bark mulch for the outer edges and paths
• Cutting of some perennials
• planting bulbs
• and …….

Main project:

Large inventory in the large perennial borders. The borders (about 350 square meters) will be extensively restructured and replanted in the coming weeks. There is a separate episode shortly  on this page to follow in the next weeks.
