December aesthetics: Frosted Beauties

Episode 2: Frosted beauties

The first frosty nights were already early November, followed by some cold nights up to -3 degrees by the end of November. December has been very rainy so far. White Christmas looks different 🙂

Therefore –  for a bit Christmas feelings – a few pictures of frozen beauties from the garden. Again and again, the fascination arises from the images that the frost conjures up on the flowers and leaves and that change again with the morning sun. Personally, I find Helleborus blossoms absolutely brilliant, which seem to withstand almost any frost and keep on flowering in the garden throughout the winter.
